![]() ![]() In Hero Mode, if Link visits the Vacant House, he can find Ravio's journal which details the plan. Instead, he traveled to Hyrule in the hope of finding someone who could take on the pair. He learned of Princess Hilda's plan to work with Yuga to steal Hyrule's Triforce but, he was too afraid to do anything directly. He is originally Link's counterpart in Lorule. Towards the end of the game, Ravio reveals his true identity. When he returns home, he discovers that Ravio has turned his house into an rental item shop. Link discovers a sign outside the Eastern Palace and learns of an item being opened south of the castle. Link encounters Ravio soon after encountering Yuga when he discovers an unexpected guest in his house. It is shown that he looks just like Link except with dark purple hair and green eyes. He also wears a blue and black striped scarf.Īt the end of the game, he removes his mask and reveals his face to Link. Beneath his tunic, he wears leather boots and vermillion leggings. He wears a purple bunny hood that hides his face, and an ankle-length purple tunic, tied together by a brown belt embedded with a green Rupee. Ravio will stay, for as horrifying as the scars covering Mr Hero’s body are, he is even more afraid of what happens if nobody helps his dearest friend.Ravio is a young man, the same age as Link. His shop is bought out, Mr Hero now travels freely between the realms hunting sages and princesses and all sorts of things the Hero will not return unless he needs help, needs a friend, needs Ravio.Īnd so on the floor of the shop that was once Link’s home Ravio stays, knowing that should he be missing when Link next returns… He has found fairies and potions and hidden them away, never again to be caught with an injured friend and nothing but thread and prayers to help. Now Ravio lays in an empty shop that was once Mr Hero’s home, not knowing when Link will return. That had been the first time that Link had come home bleeding, only to gain Ravio’s help and another suite of scars. When he awoke Link was gone, and a hundred rupees and a small card reading ‘thank you’ sat on the table. Once he was treated, Ravio had lain Link down, and settled to watch him through the night. With quick, trembling hands and his heart in his throat Ravio tended to Link’s injuries, the other teen silent and hands still where he slumped against the wall. Slowly they peeled off his clothes together, revealing a mass of bloody bandages. In a moment he had been at Link’s side, hands shaking as he guided him to the bed, rabbit-heart seizing his throat. “Mr Hero, welcome home!” Ravio had called, before he turned and realised. How he had slumped against the door, pain and terror on his face. Ravio remembers the time Link - and he had been only Link, a scared teenager then - had stumbled back home. It was usually like that, at first, but then as the adventure wore on… A smile to hide his concern, money to fill his pockets, and Sheerow a little better fed. Whatever wounds he hid - and do not doubt Ravio, he knew he was hiding them - they healed up well enough.Īnd so Ravio had left him be. There was a shake in Mr Hero’s step as he came by to hire the Bow, and one in his arms as he came for the Tornado Rod as well, but neither was earthshattering. Terrible and terrifying, but Ravio had simply taken the other teenager back to his house - a house they shared just divided by a realm - and sewn him back together.īut Yuga was Yuga, and it was to be expected, right? His Chosen Hero still needed to practice and train before he could match the man who Ravio had fled.Īnd so it was not so bad Ravio set up his shop and Mr Hero went about his travels, and all was well for a time. You learnt a lot of things growing up in Lorule, and how to stitch someone back together was the least of it. Seeing him stabbed by Yuga on the floor of the Sanctuary? Terrifying, but not so bad. Ravio had once worried that he was an intrusion, but seeing how infrequently his double comes by? Now he worries more about his health, about if he sleeps, drinks, rests ever. ![]() It is not often that Mr Hero returns home. ![]()
